We’re revamping the website again to re-do every single page into webtoon, scrolling format and NOT putting pages together, so that we can keep the wonderful 1300 or so comments.
Please don’t worry too much about the sequence of pages. We will have everything fixed ASAP and looking BETTER THAN EVER!
You might notice if you start over from the beginning, that we’re in the process of doing a retooling. The comic will be going through quite a lot of changes, but we’re excited about them!
First, you might notice the format has drastically changed, from a panel-by-panel page view, to a more mobile-friendly vertically scrolling view. We had a lot of people ask us about the possibilities of doing this, and frankly we realize webcomics are going more mobile-friendly all the time. Also, it provides a lot better image quality and presentation.
Secondly, you might notice the dialogue and story is slightly changed as well. We put our heads together and tried to think how we could make things better. We were not 100% happy with the entire story as it was written, and felt more than a few changes, edits, plot-lines, etc. needed addressed
So we welcome all readers to consider starting over from the very beginning, page one. We think you’ll find that “The Depths” is not quite the same story anymore, and there’s a lot more secrets, truths, and twists and turns than before. We’re VERY excited to see what you think!
We appreciate any comments and critiques and hope you’ll enjoy the brand-new style and story of “The Depths”. We’re hopeful with all the new things happening, we can rocket back to being the number one ranked adult furry comic on the internet!
Because we were once…
We are so proud to present our newest accomplishment in the literature world, “Shadows in Light“, an exciting urban fantasy mystery sure to please fans of the magical and mythical, surrounded by a complex web of murder and mayhem.
“Shadows in Light” takes the typical urban fantasy mystery into a number of directions. Just check out our description from Amazon:
“Sexy and dark, glimmering, and forbidding, their desire transcends worlds. However, a serial killer from Earth-Prime stalks the magical environs of Nysi Afallon. As the body count keeps rising, Maia Anemois, a quiet, reserved, and brilliant would-be-detective from “The E,” is recruited to track the killer menacing the island kingdom. Once there, she matches wits and passions with the cold, calculating investigator, Lord Kai Eurus. As she experiences the wonder, magic, and danger of this hidden world, Maia discovers a more profound link to Nysi Affalon and Kai.
Nysi Afallon is the hub and home for millions of the dispossessed, the exiled, the mixtes, different species, creatures, and peoples. The epicenter and gateway to the hidden rims High tech, sophisticated, and magical, the polis shares more than heritage with its E-cousins. Murders, mayhem, organized crime, gangers, and drugs in the form of toxic, addictive dust, threaten to undermine the glittering, beautiful, and vibrant city-state. Only Caer Justice, under the command of the secret Lord Justice, CID Lord Kai Eurus, his brother Captain Aidan Eurus, Demos Cadwgan, and their SFI’s stand between Nysi Afallon and the chaos that threatens it. Add in Maia Anemois and the place will never be the same.
Through a world of fae, demigods, monsters, and myths, the pair attempt to bring a sadistic killer to justice while fighting to save their own lives in the process. Only the gods know if they can survive.”
We’ve already had some awesome reviews from Reader’s Favorite critics:
“Magic, romance, mystery and murder…”
“…masterfully written. Shadows In Light presents an intricate plot, an engaging work of detective fiction, and a colorful world to absorb readers. It is an immersive read indeed.”
So, we really hope we’ve got enough interest out there to turn this urban fantasy mystery book series into so much more, like perhaps a mini-series on Hulu, or Amazon Prime, or Netflix. All we’re missing to make these dreams come true is people like you, who want to take a look at our book and maybe (if not buy it), you’ll Tweet about it, or make a Facebook post to friends, or even show your Instagram buddies the remarkable cover art by Vic Motta.
Check out “Shadows in Light” today! We’re really excited about it, it’s already gotten some rave reviews from Reader’s Favorites, and it’s bound to capture your heart and the urban fantasy mystery book lover in you.
We’re doing a new thing here at “The Depths” – character art exchanges! We choose comics we really love to read, and approach artists if they’d like to do fan-art for one another and post. This month, we chose”Myan” from Cat-Nine comic because…oh my God, CUUUUUTE! ♥ (similar to the term “ky000t”, which was quite popular back in the day).
Designed as a manga-styled webcomic and created by Filipino artist LazyLoneWolf (who swears up and down he is NOT a furry), Cat-Nine features a young man named Keith and his mischievous cat, Myan. Myan was bestowed at one point in her life with a magical collar, which gives her the power to transform into animals at will – including the desirable cat-girl you see below! So as you can imagine, things can get pretty wild and crazy in the world of Cat-Nine!
You can catch Keith, Myan and a host of other CUTE characters here!
Our wonderful wishes and thanks to Moonabel for the art! This is the dream artist for us! ♥
