Castaway Advice: Castaway Advice: When you first arrive, it’s a good idea to know what time it is so you can figure out tide schedules. Check this quick article out to tell time without a watch:  Now that you know the approximate time, you can keep track of the tides that come in and when. And this is important if you’re camped out on the beach. A massive, untimely tide could ruin a fire, a day’s meal, and if it’s powerful enough, wake you from a sound sleep and send you out to sea. You might want to just pull one all-nighter, so you can see how far inland the water will go. It’s worth the lack of sleep to know how safe you are inland. (if the tide is irregular, you might be in luck! You’re close to a big shipping lane, so help’s not too far away!)
