Yes, Kalea is became an instant waifu among fans early on. She truly is amazing.

waifu – Noun. (fandom slang) A fictional character from non-live-action visual media (typically an anime, manga, or video game) that one is attracted to and considers a significant other. (Your Dictionary)

Those that weren’t aware, the name “Kalea” is Polynesian for “joy” or “happiness”. She’s not as observant or gifted with words as Leilani’s upbringing has allowed, but she clearly is loyal to her best friend.

As a note, this was the last page of Twinkle-sez’ penciling for The Depths, and Kino Jaggernov took over the reigns solo for quite a bit.

Speaking of going solo, it looks like Malana is bound and determined to show Leilani up and prove her own remarkable talents.

But why…?

Why would Malana want so badly to best the princess like this? Well, there’s a reason and it’s coming up soon.
