The Depths, an adult furry webcomic – Page 18: Intrusion; Cold

Jamie is proving to be quite an intrusive and annoying character already, isn’t he?

But we wouldn’t worry too much, dear readers…

He’s about to get much, much worse.

See, Jamie is our main antagonist, but his motives aren’t entirely clear until a little bit later on. But his lust for riches can’t be denied. His character is probably very reminiscent of the bad guys you’d see in some of those vintage South Seas films about sailors and traders letting greed and vanity control their lives to the point of death and destruction.

Well, you’re not going to like Jamie very much at all, and that is by design. We want readers to hate him.  But only so they see what fate has in store for him. We might have made him a bit too villainy but this is how we roll when we write.

Our good guys are good – and our bad guys can be downright evil…
