So here’s a chuckle for you. *^^* Shots With Comics heralds “The Depths” as the “best straight furry webcomic out there”, and it was rather ironic that it was said while we were just finishing scripting out and sketching the next page – which shows beautiful grown-up Kalea suddenly finding herself in the arms of, and the recipient of, a deep meaningful kiss from Malana in a passionate lesbian scene.
And everyone now wonders, “HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?!?”
Well, that’s a story yet to be told…
But for now, we invite readers to fall in love right along with Kalea and Malana all over again, as some brand new surprises are just around the corner – and you’re about to learn that Kalea especially has changed quite a bit indeed…

The earlier parts of the story reminded me of a loitle book called: ‘The Island of The Blue Dolphins’.
That’s a very pretty story too. We try to base our stories on those 1930s and 1940s comics and South Seas movies adventures. ^^
Never a good idea to shoehorn someone or something into a pigeonhole; you’re certain to be surprised when you discover your assumptions were all wrong. Let people and stories be what they are and stop trying to make them into something they are not.
That, by the way, is aimed at ‘Shots with Comics’, not anybody here.

No, we really hadn’t written anything much for the mother, Malina. However, it reminds me, I can post a short story we wrote a little bit ago that explains more. Will do that tomorrow.
