Well, a good adult furry webcomic wouldn’t be complete without one good cat-fight. And this one is going to be brutal.
Of course Leilani is ultra-angry at Malana for not only betraying her pearl bed to the bad guy, but she has the nerve to try and best her by grabbing more. That pushes Leilani too far. We don’t think she really cares if her and Malana drown in the depths – she just wants to get even with her.
The rivalry between them is hard to ignore, much less to understand, until you realize there’s more to Leilani and Malana than just bad blood.
No, it’s quite deeper… deeper than any ocean in the world.

Dang it, where are Rebreathers when you need them?
Oh right, a few decades into the future.
If I follow the “normal” Earth’s standards, which I’m trying to, scuba gear will be coming in about 5 years or so, right? ^^
Now if I imagine female topless anthropomorphic otters wearing rebreathers and/or other scuba diving equipment, it’ll obviously be kind of hard.
first invention of rebreather 1680 tho it failed.. so they used diving bell/suit.. 1776… first proven rebreather was 1878.. now. that said , “Scuba” did not come be world known until after WWII.. ( scuba was a state secret in England in WWII..) so till after WWII, all assisted Diving was select few salvage company’s or military.!!
Which would make Leilani a valuable asset in undersea endeavors. Not just pearl diving. *^^*
Actually, I can see Leilani finding very valuable treasures in sunken wrecks from different eras. Wait, I’m pretty certain there’s art of that already.
Hey, that could make for a good story. Cursed/Blessed Sunken Artifact, anyone? It could have tentacles~
I’m actually toying with the idea of a shipwreck adventure. *^^* Let’s get this story arc finished first though.

OK.. for those that read this… TWC, has a weird voting standard.. any new comic put in the top ten at the first of the month is tracked on votes per day.. after the 30 days, the X amount of votes gives the standing (starting number in hundreds,,) of where it will be.. Pins and freaking needles waiting to see what happens! Hopefully Kalea stays out of danger. As has been said, foreboding. Clearly something is going to happen. I’m guessing the gods of the sea will take offense at the pearl harvest and exact their revenge on the ship and crew. Whether the girls survive, here’s hoping. Fantastic storyline, Leilani, with outstanding artwork. Keep it coming!!!
